Identity
I see you as a blizzard with harsh winds and chilling ice, used to reveal the beauty in life.
Only when I take the time to enjoy it.
Your cold winds teach lessons of perseverance on the whispers of your voice in the wind.
When the icy slivers sting my skin my brain tells me to run, but my heart knows I'm better than that.
Then I understand it was only to prepare me for the upcoming hardships.
Now the ice glistens so pleasantly on the trees showing the beauty my ignorance left me blind to.
