Be strong now, because things will get better. It may rain now, but it can't rain forever.

Today I wrote you a letter
One that you'll never read
By now it's long gone
So no one will ever see

I told you things that nobody knows
That I'll never say again
They're my deepest darkest of secrets
And I wrote them in the sand

Maybe one day I'll tell someone
But that someone will not be you
Sometimes lies are hard to tell
And the easiest thing is the truth

I whisper secrets into the wind
And etch words on the beach
It's easier to write down those thoughts
Than to stumble through a speech

Today I wrote you a letter
Talking about stuff you don't understand
But I don't have to worry about that
Because I wrote the letter in the sand

I actually thought this poem out while playing in the sand at the beach this past summer. It's cool, because I really did write someone this letter.
