Lowell (Pat) DeMars
My eyes light up then
turn to tears when
I can see what it was
that used to make me
happy even though
I was young
I remember where
we used to sit by
the roses in the
garden with sylvester
by our side
walking, kneeing, pawing
at all the bug, my hero,
one of the only major
pars of my "old days"
I can remember
i love and really miss
you, grandpa my fire fighter
