smiles aren't true
promises aren't real
souls do cry
heart does feel
swore we'd make eternity
that we'd love 4eva
somehow eternity ended
now im nothin but bitter
who would've thought, the joy
you gave would quickly vanish
two souls broken apart
leaving questions unanswered
everything i had
i put into us
somehow i was fooled
by that word called love
tried to give you the world
i guess it was expensive at my cost
ended up empty habded
a battle i lost
at war with my heart
b/c its still holding on
still hope for tomorrow
if it continue to hang on
dreams, fantasies is all i see
though
thoughts cloud my head
wondering if you even cared
after all the tears i shed
remembering back to those 3 words,
and those promises of 4 eva
daydreaming of a life just us
2 together
guess i keep gripping on to your
make-believe existence
not realizing
4 eva has ended
