"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but my the number of moments that take our breath away."

Leaves fly across
The pavement
Like butterflies

They travel with the wind,
In groups they fly,
Tons of orange butterflies

Fluttering their wings
In the dark night air
Across the smooth pavement

A magnificent flight
Can't believe my own eyes
As I see those butterflies

Then the wind stops,
The clusters of leaves
Are gone now

And one lone leaf
Flies across the road
Trying to catch up
With all the others
Who fit in and keep up
With the group
Of orange butterflies

this poem was inspired, literally, by a group of orange leaves flying across the pavement with the wind
