Punished for Falling

It was only after I started to fall
That he told me he was taken
He said that he started falling for me too
But his girlfriend came first
He hasn’t talked to me for a few weeks
And I miss him really bad
I just heard from a good friend
That his girlfriend found out about me
She ended things and now he’s mad
Because I was part of the reason
But I’m not the one that cheated on her
So why am I the one being punished?
