we never were together and never will be,but i still love you and still want you here.
you are everything i always wanted.
i know that all you want to be is friends.
so if thats all you want.
i will keep on tryin but not as hard.
but you know i will never stop loving you no matter what.
i hope you never leave and always stay with me.

This piece is so so relatable! I think eveyone has been here and felt this way. What you could maybe do to make it even more powerful is to describe this feeling that everyone has had with words and emotions that not everyone can fully unserstand. It makes a piece so much more powerful when you have to read it a few times and think really hard about the meaning before you can really grasp the concept. You might try describing how you know he doesn't love you. Like in the way he looks at you vs the way he looks at her.
