Love Apnea
Air becomes vital
Now, even harder to grasp
My hands aren't hands anymore
Our plans aren't there anymore
Rain drops down my face in this empty place
Body begins to shake
How can I make things better?
I want to tell her I love her
Now even more
But she won't let the words come out anymore
I feel I've been replaced
I no longer want to be here
I fear death is in loves place
Gasping for a breath
I want to lay my head upon her chest
I want to feel her hands in mine
I wish I could turn back time
If even for a moment
To relive the love that we meant
