Slipping
Slipping into a void,
Where thoughts come and go,
Everyday, rushing in and out,
Pushing you farther and farther away from the real world. Keeping you down and out, with nothing but thoughts, thoughts of life, reality, and the future. For the future has everything to hold but nothing at all. We can all do something with our lives but, what holds us back? Ourselves, and the consciousness we hold. Our mind and gut tell us how to live, but do any of us think to use our hearts? For our hearts know best, our gut and minds use instincts, your heart uses much, much more. It uses what you believe is right, and what is wrong. So why do we all use our minds? Our guts?
