Gabriel’s Letter
I wish I may when I pray,
For all your grace shall not fray,
If you hear me grant me a sign,
Some essence or part of you may I find,
All my life I longed for a willing faith,
My tortured soul is yours to take,
If you are my master grant me my wings,
Embrace me with love from songs my heart sings,
Test my soul with the weight of man,
Rest my pain within your gentle arms and carry me across the sand,
Help me climb as high as my humanity will grant me,
A body of limitations and weakness but my limitless mind will set me free,
I long to dance in the sky with my brothers ounce more,
Even a small dose of humanity is too much for the angel of death to endure,
Please forgive my actions this shall be my final prayer,
Forgive me I am your weakest son and my tainted life is far too much to bear.
