On the 12th of February a life was born,
Bursting with compassion and love,
It was wonderful day, with nothing to mourn,
You came from the heavens; Sent from above,
As bright as an angel, as pure as a dove,

As one of your children, you dwell in my heart,
Forever loved by all; we shall never part,
But today is the day your one year wiser,
I shall always look to you; as my only adviser,

The love that we share, I shall never regret to remember,
Like the beauty and youth in your smiling face shall last forever,
Though one year older...You never turn cold, never dismember,
My eternal gratitude for all you gave me shall never severe,

You give every day your all and always look towards the future,
You give all your love each day, and ask no one to return the favor,
There is no pain that one of you hugs cannot suture,
When every moment I look in your eyes is on I savor,

And though sometimes you may feel left out or forgotten,
Now and forever I shall always be your grandson,

You’ve heard it through the years: You’ve heard it before,
I hope you birthday was great, and I wish you many many more!

Love your dearest grandson,
Joe
XOXOXOXO
