"dont judge a book by its cover"-Anonymous? (correct me if im wrong thanks!)

There she lays by me
sleeping in an innocent dream

yet there I lay
right by her side

though she may not think of it
but to me this is magic

humble I am to her
always cautious of my actions

afraid that I will do a wrong
it seems to never phase

the compassion we share together
of an everlasting bond

worried I must be to think
that I could destroy this union

even though I haven't disrupt it
the threat of danger still lingers

around my mystical thoughts
of a sovereign masterpiece

my eyes wonder about
venturing her unexplored body

random questions emerge through my mind
thinking of how pure this creation is

beauty of this scene I see
is only a fraction of the words

that I can describe this awesomeness
moment in time I would never

dare to leave or forget about
of how truly peaceful it is

merely a second has passed
as i finally hear a tick

of that annoying clock
that is hidden away in the shadows

slowly I close my eyes
and move closer to her

never wanting to let go
never wanting to forget her

The poem is only a fraction of my mind, that is always seeing the beauty that I lay me eyes on. But this particular one, is more for a special person who I seem to never show her how much she means to me. Yet I only hope that the best will come of this.
