Alone
Your core hurts. Your soul is doubled over in pain.
Your stomach drops every 60 seconds.
Your ears ring with the silence around you.
No matter where you turn you only see black.
Every memory you have is washed away.
Everyone that loves you turns to skeletons.
The world as you know it is no more.
Everyone in your life is nothing but a thought.
You’ve felt lonely before,
but this feeling is so much more.
You can’t think straight, hell you can’t think at all.
No emotions, no feeling. Just black, dull.
Never thought I would reach this point.
Where I feel I have nowhere to turn.
No one to talk to.
No fuel to burn.
Nothing to look forward to.
No dreams to come true.
No hope in anything.
My mind is blank, my heart is askew.
Never thought I would reach this point while I’m with you.
Alone is much more than a word, more than a feeling.
Its hopelessness, restlessness, and knowing that there’s no one caring
