Prep. school boys and public school girls

You were absent and left me feeling like a school girl staring at an empty desk.
You didn't know it, but you accidently took my heart home with you yesterday afternoon.
And you d't know it, but without you I was no one in this school of faces.
I hated you and your issues.
But i loved you and your issues.
I needed a hand to mollify this precious anxiety you give to me.
I needed a feel, but our songs were there to touch me when you weren't.
