Whenever we're together
Something pulls me in
Whenever you come closer
My lips spread into a grin

I try to run away
But you always drag me back
I know that I should leave
But its like I'm on a track

You always seem to shock me
When you whisper "I love you"
But when i ask again
You say it isn't true

You know just how to reach me
Your touch, it drives me insane
I try to hide the hurt in my eyes
Because to you it's just a game

Now I'm stuck, I'm so confused
Not knowing what to do
I don't know whether to leave or stay
When i hate and love you too

The author's comments:
this poem was inspired by my relationship with a boy i fell in love with. its about our relationship and how i never really know how he feels about me. i still dont, and i know i shouldnt be with a guy like him, but that doesnt stop me from having feelings for him. comments/critique are greatly appreciated. thank you and enjoy.
