lonely meadow

wandering .
in a lonely meadow .
mindless& alone .
birds cawing above me .
their shrieks piercing through ,
my already shattered heart .
the trees barren .
its winter .
harshly cold .
i’m numb from head to toe .
i could say pain consumes me .
but that would be a lie .
i feel nothing .
not;
the memory of pain ,
the feel of his kisses ,
the touch of his hands ,
nothing .
brought out of my reverie ,
I wake to realize,
I don’t care anymore .
