I'm not sure where I'm going
I open the door and step outside.
It's chilly, but I don't feel the need for a jacket.
I slowly start walking towards the group of trees in the distance.
As I reach the edge of the forest,
I put my foot down on dry leaves
And hear the familiar crunching sounds that let me know that fall is here.
I get further and further into the woods,
And I start feeling uneasy.
I look around,
But no one's there.
I can't help but think that I'm missing something.
I reach the wooden bridge that was built some time ago.
No one really knows when or why.
I decide to stop.
I lower myself down until my feet are dangling over the water.
I look for fish that I know are not there.
And when I look down
The feeling of being watched disappears.
And tranquility sets in,
For I know why I was brought here.
So I offer praise.
And I know that the sinking feeling of being observed wasn't illogical.
Because He was watching over me.
