Drowning Inside

No one needs to tell me how I feel.
No one needs to tell me that this is real.
I don’t think anybody understands.
I don’t think anybody could.
They never see me.
They don’t know who I really am.
Inside I’m screaming
But on the outside I look calm.
Holding on to composure
But I’m sliping
I can feel the cracks on the surface.
Drowning inside myself
Struggling for air.
