Remember that day we talked.
You were right.

You know that blue-eyed kid who sits three seats back.
You will.
The stuff you're learning in chemistry.
It isn't really that important.
When you slipped on the ice in the parking lot.
No one saw.
That girl in the obituaries.
Remembers that you liked her dress.
God knows you deserve to go to Heaven.
Even though you forgot to pray.
When your dad yelled at you last night.
He didn't mean it.
The quarterback, #72.
Played his last game three days ago.
The Little Dipper.
Is a lot bigger than it looks.
Those "cool" jeans you saved up for.
Won't be cool after Christmas.
Your 18th birthday.
Will be your favorite.

I wish I could be there.

i totally understand that. like, you can look at someone and how they act and be like, he/she is a fake, thats not who they really are. but when it comes to yourself, somtimes you look at what you're doing and you can't really tell if you're really being yourself or not. its like, am i being a fake? or is this me?

Yeah I agree. I feel like most of my writing is only meaningful to me because I know the ideas behind it. I need to figure out how to broaden it so it's more relatable I guess.

Ha ha prime example. When I wrote that i was thinking of a friend of mine. She changes depending on the time of day literally. It bugs everyone. It's so easy to see the people around you who are fake, but it's hard to tell when you aren't being yourself (or at least that's how it feels to me).

yea, i understand that feeling. sometimes things just dont come out as well on paper as they do in our heads. maybe because paper doesnt have the tendency to bend around the idea to show the whole thing? idk.. i still really like it. i read your other poem.. the one about the personalities and fakes and stuff. but, i dont really get what you mean by it..
