Woman's Grave
Caught in the eye
One blind and indifferent
Helplessly watching the destruction unfold
With a thread locked mouth
So starved for words
Denial, a prescription for weary minds
It's the only thing that helps me sleep
Thier clawing hand tarnish my dreams
Grasping at anything to slow the fall
Glistening orbs reflect their unspoken truths
As their speech is drowned out
By the throaty laugh of thunder
In this soild womb
It's more like a grave
Buried inside me
Like a hand grenade
I regret to inform you
My dearest,
My love,
I just couldn't do it
