October 9th, 2001.
It was the day after my ninth birthday.
I was at my dads house.
He was already drunk,
But being way to nice.
I knew something was up
Even though it was my birthday the day before.
We were sitting in a booth, in a car next to his house.
My dad kept staring at me as if I was a mircle.
We sat there for hours in this unbearable silence.
Finally he told me to go into the back room and go to bed.
A while later I awoke with a creak in the floor.
"Dad?"
The person crept closer and sat on the bed.
"Hello. My names Pete."
I could smell him.
He smelled of Big Red gum and New Car air freshener.
"I'm a very special friend of your daddy's."
He pulled me closer as he sat down.
I inched away.
"I think I love you little girl,
Please dont be afraid."
I yelled, "Dad! Please help me!"
He pushed me down and ripped my shirt.
I screamed and kicked but it was no use.
After he did what he'd came to do he said,
"Dont tell little girl or I just might have to come after you."
He whispered in my ear.
Then he smiled and licked the tear that ran down my cheek.
My daddy has a cocaine problem and he was in debt.
My daddy was so glad that I could get him his next fix.
