Laugh your heart out. Dance in the rain. Cherish the moment. Ignore the pain. Live, love, laugh. Forgive & Forget. Life's too short to live with regrets.

We all go through the motions of life
In the hands of time
It can creep slowly
Or just fly by

Grasp it with everything you can give
No one can stop you
As long as you fight
You can't let life slip away

Live your life
Because some won't get the chance
Some parents won't know their children
Someone else's baby going off to war

Sometimes you have to push away fear
To embrace life
You may have to battle the dark
So you can see the light

No matter how hard it is to move
Live in the present
But remember the past
Stop thinking about the future

For once take it slow
Concentrate on the wind on your face
The smell that fills the air
How the grass feels under your feet

Life might buck you around
So buckle up
And hang on for the ride

... You might not always get your second chance

The author's comments:
What inspired me to do this piece was just the fact that some people live their life in a blur. Either because of soemthing that happened to them or they just are just simply alwayshurrying themselves to be better. This poem just talks anout taking a minute to slow down and smell the roses.
