Swimming in the shadows,

An orb of light.

Sparkling yellow soul,

Standing on ground open wide.

Hellfire burned and the skies fell apart,

Into dripping pearls meddling with blistering art of God.

The flame raged as it was kissed by the sweet nectar of life,

I did not know such tenderness could birth a rage such as yours.

I looked at the sky, the sun was all alone.

He was alone before icarus flew to him,

Lonely after icarus fell.

Icarus loved the sun,

But I loved my solitude.

Nobody to enrage, none to appease.

I had myself.

Enraged into limitless heat,

Steamed into infinite wisdom.

Poured into moulds of finity and infinity,

Found myself so large

Could not contain much into pages overflowing with ink

Poetry overflowing with flesh and blood

A sink overflowing with bones of the rabbit

As the deer chased the musk,

How the great saint  spoke of,

The entire world in a joyous dusk,

Watched the sun shine through his tears.

This is my second piece of poetry. It is dedicated to feelings of loneliness and separation. A sense of detachment from the sub-species. A soul-crushing, mind-boggling sort of sensation of solitude. Bone-chilling solitude.
