In the quiet of June afternoons,

my Junior year fades away,

Leaving whispers of new beginnings.

In the shuffle of college applications,

My hopes and dreams try to find voice,

While my footsteps wander through college grounds,

Where paths promise discovery.

Amidst bittersweet goodbyes to friends and teachers,

Teachers’ wisdoms are shared in my yearbook.

Prom night sparkles under the starlit skies,

We dance and laugh the night away.

At the graduation, applause-filled auditorium,

Diplomas shine like beacons,

Marking endings and new beginnings.

Milestones reached, pride takes flight.

Packing bags, a journey soon to start,

My heart is beating with excitement,

To explore the uncharted land!

I wanted to explore the ideas of new beginnings through my school years ending. I'm really excited about everything, especially the idea of graduation and college.
