But I couldn't help and face

Attached to the image I thought I was missing 

Attached to your hold

You cleaned out just for me

Was attachment

I thought love was action

All your actions lined up

but I didn't realize acting was so easy

i started to feel a little queasy

When said you would meet me 

And didn't show up 

Or that time i texted you to come and

Be there for me 

I sat alone under a tree

Slowly realizing you don't care

Maybe your transgressions were

Explainable

I know you work and your back hurts 

So I don't want to make any more pain 

As our love slowly fades

There's fewer good days

Me resenting the moments we share 

You act like you don't care 

Even though we're both aware we're not a

We can't help being attached
