Protest Poem - War
Cries,
screams,
pleads for life.
An explosion declares war,
and the war begins.
A war that destroys lives,
A war that rips apart families,
A war that ruins communites.
All for the good of one man.
As lifeless bodies scatter the streets like fallen leaves,
As buildings crumble from once powerful strcutures to piles of dust
Wonder, was it worth it?
