Shoreline Park
Is my favorite place.
Looking at the view,
Just keeps me in a daze.
Going in the afternoon is the perfect time,
But going in the evening is also fine.
My Mom lets me use her
Great big bike.
And riding on a bike
Is way better than a hike.
Phump!
I’m biking too fast,
And it seems a snake
Took a thwack!
Phump!
I’m biking too fast,
And I took a thwack!
I suppose karma
Struck me in the back.
I’m sorry I thwacked that snake.
As I went through the bay,
A stench filled my nose,
I think some geese had to go.
As we head on back,
Something lacked,
And that was something in my stomach.
We got some take-out, it was Chinese.
When I got home, my knees let out a scream,
Just like a kid without ice cream.
It’s almost the end of the school year,
There’s some fear,
But for biking,
I have a liking.
I am a 7th grader. Biking in Shoreline park in Bay Area, CA is my favorite thing to do. Biking on long trails next to bay is sort of meditation for me
