The lies you tell and games you play,

repeatedly telling me what I need to gain

You are cause, while I'm affect

I think if I left it’d be for the best

Something so sweet turned sour in a day,

I’d be better off without your rotten ways

You tell me to give you another chance to change,

But you only say that so I'll stay.

You lead me on and drag me along,

Claiming that I'm too high-strung

Walking away from you is hard to do,

Especially when my absence does nothing to you.
