r.i.p 2 my youth
R.I.P to my youth,
who’s beauty and value I overlooked
never knew its worth until it was gone.
Bury me with my arms crossed
And bury me fast
Locked in a closed casket
Unable to scream
Leaving me to ask,
“Where'd all the time go?”
In a blink of an eye you were
gone.
Its one of the inescapable
yet everyone goes through
yet I am scared to leave you behind
I wear you like a tattoo
so I can never forget you
Too much in a rush to grow up,
I never saw you
I never stopped to enjoy being my age.
And now I rewatch my favorite Disney movies and love everything pink to get the same rush I did as a little girl.
R.I.P my youth, you'll be missed.
Now I say goodbye to one life and welcome a new,
adulthood.
