Favorite Quote:
“Love is a possible strength in an actual weakness. Marriage transforms a distraction into a support, the power of which should be, and happily often is, in direct proportion to the degree of imbecility it supplants.” ― Thomas Hardy, Far from the Madding Crowd

At last! the door is open!

Oh shi- the blinds are drawn!

At last the day is coming!

I'll no longer be his pawn!

its home, food, bed

all i can see is red

at least he ain't hit me dead

i wanna move out to the shed

he thinks im obtuse

thinks idk its abuse

he has awful bodily misuse

his hands are gonna be my noose

no one can see my bruises

theyve asked and i refuses

if anyone finds out i lose

ive made many good excuses

my scars are all emotional

nothing all that notable

theyve made me quite unsocial

makes me look unapproachable

if i file for abuse

we have to deal with men in suits

no one will believe the truth

the courts will be screaming "deuce!"

if they do then i lose

it'll all be a fluke

i'll be stuck in abuse

his hands will surely be my noose

not rope

no hope

i wish i had some dope

cause then maybe i could cope
