Do You, Still?
“I love you.” Do you, still?
Will you, still, when you realise that
“You’re perfect” I’m really not
but you are, and when I look at you
I see stars, but I’m afraid
of letting you look at me
too long
because what if you realise
everything that I’ve been trying to
convince myself isn’t true,
is.
“You’re all I’ve ever wanted” Oh
how I wish that were true
but how could it be, when
you don’t want me
anymore
“I do”
But do you, really?
Do you, still?
