constellation

i look up at the stars to guide me
but all i see is a jumble of dots that remind me of you
that remind me of the nights we spent laying beneath them
trying to find our constellations
i don’t even remember my own
but right there painted in the sky
i see you
i see us
i see what we were
and what we will never be
i look up at the stars in hopes to move me foward
but all i see is you
