The Huntress
She winds up her hatchets,
Their menacing glints taunt your eyes
Drowning in your fear you run.
Coward in the red forest.
Her humming swoons the trees,
as they bend down to welcome the
unknowing prey.
She walks the woods at night,
her wooden mask a carved white.
Leather boots scuffing the silent ground.
Sunken rabbit fear through eyes.
She hunts until dawn,
her hatchets whizz past your ears.
She has found her prey.
She smells fear, and she
hunts to kill.
Humming...
“La-la-la-la,
la la la la la-la-la.”
