Favorite Quote:
Assumptions are the death of truth...

Crystal teardrop strings,

Hang from my eyes.

Heartbreaking promises

And devastating lies.

Red decorates the misty depths.

A haze of fragile hope looming ahead.

Entangled in whitish strands of pain

Red, green, blue of life, rain drained.

Wounds gifted by my dearest.

Veiled, unknown blind behest.

Pierce the worst.

Pierce my worth.

Call me emotionally dearth ?

When you claim my tears are inert !

How dare you lessen my worth?

When you claim my emotions are manipulative gears !

I hide them now,

Calling them pretty jewels.

How my eyes gleam in the sun !

Adornments hanging like abominations.

You lost the right to kiss them,

When you made me taste the saltiness.

Those windows to my souls

To you are, forever closed .

I wait in the hope

That someday, someone

Will cherish my tears

Hold them close,

Claim them, theirs.

The author's comments:

Never ridicule someone's emotions. You are lucky to witness them at their weakest. They chose you for that. Don't make them feel miserable.
