Floating lanterns in the sky
A sight that fills my heart with sighs
A symbol of hope and love
That flies up to the heavens above
Each lantern carries a dream
A wish that's more than it may seem
A symbol of our hopes and fears
That we send up with love and tears
As lanterns float away
I feel my spirit start to sway
A sense of peace that fills my soul
As the lantern make me whole
So let us light our lanterns high
And watch them dance across the sky
A symbol of our love and light
That shines so bright, both day and night
