Gift to mom
You’re the birds chirping in the morning,
Happy and carefree over the garden,
Filled with beautiful flowers just like you and yummy foods that you use to make tasty meals.
You’re the calm graceful gust of wind in the sunny summer of august blowing your hair.
You're the soft colorful blanket sitting in your lap as you crochet,
While Stella, our kitty sits in your lap and you pet her orange, softest fur in the world.
You’re the breath of fresh air of happiness in the summer,
That makes me forget all the struggles in life.
You’re the one who made me who I am and pushed me to become the best version,
Even if I didn’t believe in myself.
You’re the book in your hand,
Because of the beautiful story that is told within it,
While you turn the white paper pages.
You’re the flour spread out on the table,
Because you are the best baker of all with the amazing bread you make.
You’re the sound of pots and pans in the kitchen as you cook up the best meal,
Better than any professional cook.
You’re my inspiration to be able to accomplish what I want.
You're my hope that I will be able to own my own business one day.
You’re that plane that can go anywhere and do anything it puts it’s mind to,
And will one day make your dream come true of traveling to the philippines,
And meet those loving family members you have never got the chance to meet.
You’re grandma in heaven when your in the kitchen making asian foods she always made,
And introducing those foods to me and my brother.
You’re the mom who could win the best dress because of your desire to keep up with the trends,
Bringing back the mom jeans and rocking the converse.
You’re the tiny pretty birds at the bird feeders in the backyard,
Free and wings wide open like your arms when you comfort me.
You’re my mom and my forever best friend.
You’re the one who made me, me.
You’re the mom I will always love and never forget.
