YOU are BLIND
You are the reason I come to school every day
You are the reason I have promised to stay
But you can’t see that
You still like my best friend
And I act like I’m okay with it
But to be honest, I’m jealous
You stare at her and don’t even see me
You cut me out of the picture completely
You are giving me all the signs
You just can’t say the right lines
You give me half hugs and give her none
Am I the one?
I’m not sure
My heart is pacing
My lungs are racing
The air I breath in can’t seem to make it past my mouth
Maybe your feelings for me left with the birds and migrated south
But I won’t give up
I’m the one that has been there for you since day one
And she has been there none
Why can’t you see me?
Am I invisible?
Because others see me clearly
Except for you obviously
Maybe you’re just blind
Or haven’t got the common sense in mind
But I don’t care
I still see you stare,
At her or me?
I can’t really see
Because you’ve blind sighted me
