Cloudburst
Rain painted that window
With blurry filthy water
Thunder slashing sunlight
into splinters of iced sharp knives
It’s meant to be abrupting
Following a peaceful, balmy night
Shatter the vitalizing umbrella
wound the adamant innocent
Not a soul’s willing to be poured
with countless frozen, thrilling tears
It’s meant to be desperate
After that peaceful, balmy night
Neither the clouds want it
But can’t brace anymore
With pools of heavy sewage
accumulated in its heart
