The Dying Phoenix
Although she grips me with her hands of death,
I understand what she is putting me through.
If this is to help others,
let it start.
Although her hands are crooked and evil,
The hands of Spring will come,
And I will be reborn.
Now, she pulls off all my plumage, and I burst into flame.
There is so much hope.
When she comes, I will be reborn.
When she comes, I will have reason to hope.
But for now, I must rest in Winter's iron hand,
knowing that I've helped someone
before I died.
