Careful for You.
Your heart, like mine, is fragile and precious. So to it, I'll hold dear to mine. I'll cling closer to your heart. You, my love, are a work of art, and divine.
I'll hold you near and close. I promise that I'll never let go. But I'm clumsy. So I'm sorry if when the wind blows you tumble or when walking I stumble.
And I promise if you crumble, I'll search the land for every piece. Piece by piece, I'll build you again. I'll keep you safer and hold you more.
But I'll be careful, I'll try not to stumble; and if I do, I'll make sure you won't crumble. For you, my dear, my heart is in a jumble.

I wrote this for my s/o, but I believe many others can relate to the empathic side of love.
