Love that outruns the quick
Love that beats down the strong
Love that steals from the mind
And gives to the heart
Love like the sudden jolt
Upon diving into cold water
Love, you never met a sensibility
Who you couldn’t override
And pull along on a string
Love talks loudest of any emotion
Causes folly on the daily
You, love, are a trickster
A liar and a traitor
Nothing but insanity cloaked
In robes of euphoria
Printing rows of sentiments
Misery, elation, anticipation
God is anywhere and everywhere
You shoot your arrow
Down from the heavens and decide
