I've been running for far too long

Sleep gnaws at my body 

But I don’t stop 

I only slow


The moon is a temptress

Chasing me in the dark 

Waiting for me to slip

I almost stop and wait

To be swallowed by the moon 

in its silvery glory


So one day i cave

I stop

It's not long before I am gulped into the belly of the moon

Im finally able to rest

Thank you moon
