because of people who get it in their heads

to try and play god, then, oh. someones dead

I have this weapon at my disposal

getting rid of it seems an obscene proposal

rid myself of the weapon I hold so dear?

why? all so people don't live in fear?

a fear that they lock up so tight

fear that keeps us up at night

I lie in wait of the next event 

the list of names of those whose lives were spent

the fates foretold the line to be severed

ending lives on a public record
