These expectations cripple me
They are much to high
Work too hard, stress me out
Tell me i want to die
These limitations have been set
They tell me i must try
But i know the pain
Will only make me cry
These rules remind me
Of what has been
As icy water
Slashes my skin
The cold, the hurt
The searing pain
Of what i know
About disdain
This perfect picture
Of what i must be
This perfect picture
Is nothing like me
