The snow nipped at the ground’s nose; the ground only smirked at the snows foolishness, for the ground knew that the sun’s love would warm it once again.

I chose to do this story not about the love of higher intelligence such as humans; but about something that you really have to dig for the emotions. Personification is a great way to try and grasp how I would think the ground the snow and the sun thinks. I tried to make the emotions complex and think outside of the box for this one-sentence love story.
