The Uninterrupted Moment
Looking out her window. Another beautiful day. But the window creates a glare-making her feel sightless. But she doesn’t care. Lost in her thoughts. Not a care in the world. Moments like these with no interruptions, no stress, just her and her thoughts. Until her mom walks in.
“You need to get out of your room and do something.”
I nod but do not acknowledge, just simply stare out the window.
Can there be one moment for myself?
