What The United States Flag Stands For
A star-spangled banner. Lined with 13 bold stripes of red and white, symbolizing the colorful history of the emergence of a great nation, rooted in freedom and opportunities for every eager soul.
Fifty shining stars on a canvas of blue, represent growth and progress as the American dream marches on, developing in every state.
Brave young soldiers tread into danger to maintain the reality of freedom. Veterans salute as comrades are carried away in honor, valorant heroes.
Children daily board long yellow buses, with the gift of education. Tickling their minds with information about the world in which they live.
Immigrants pledge allegiance, joining a community of citizens. Sharing language and culture, forming a melting pot of diversity.
Families gather around a checkered tablecloth dinner. Feasting on charcoal-roasted barbeque and sweetly buttered corn. Fireworks sizzle and burst into a show of light and wonder.
The flag hoisted daily, floats high above bathing its country in the knowledge of protection and strength. A symbol of unity. A beacon of freedom and independence. Worth much more than the threads by which it was sewn.
