From corvettes to trucks

                         From baseball caps to cowboy  hats

                       To sunny days with no clouds in sight

                 To a place that has every weather imaginable 

                                    From 90 degree winters  

To a place  where the phrase white christmas is highly known

                             From surfing to sledding

                I'm a west coast girl in a bluegrass dream

       I'm a girl with her head in one place and feet in another

                   A kentucky girl that is stuck on california time

     I'm a girl who waits for her dad to come home from helping others

                               who cant help themselves, 

                      sitting by the door waiting on christmas eve 

                For him to come home and my mom telling me,

                 he has overtime and it's past my bedtime. 

 He  can't make it off for the holidays this year and it sounds unreal.

                              I am a girl who rants to animals 

                when she doesn't know what to do and who to tell

                        I'm a 5’3 and a half girl who acts 6’0 feet tall 

                     A girl who loves her friends for their her family

From running out of the house with my stick in hand with

                       cleats barely hanging off my feet

                     I'm from rushing out the door  and 

                  trying to get to your game on time

 I'm a girl who gets waits for the clock to strike a minute and 

    4 seconds so she can't go back in from getting her yellow card

I'm a girl who belongs on the field running with her team because 

                             That is no other but me
