Always chased but never chosen.
Stuck in this place, forever frozen.
Flirted with and never once told,
About that girl you apparently hold.
I’m the girl you text when you’re bored.
Never have romantic feelings toward.
Forced into the wings of the stage,
Watching from my friend zone cage.
Never asked out or even recognized,
I will never be enough, this I’ve realized.
No matter how much I show I love you,
And no matter what you put me through.
I’ll continue to give you more mind space,
Because I’ve learned to love second place.
