SOBER THOUGHTS, DRUNKEN WORDS
A video from you pops up and I start to wonder,
You say you’re drunk and my thoughts you plunder.
You call me your best friend and compliment me,
And start to say the things I used to wish could be.
How you think i’m so pretty and listen so well,
Saying you love me and i’ve been with you through hell.
I smile painfully as you look back through the phone,
Because tomorrow those words you’ll disown.
And now, the next day, I see your name back on my screen,
And open the video where she can be seen.
